Ti Amore

6 year old brown mare by Taipan out of Calamaire

  owned by the J'Adore Partnership

Ti Amore in rehearsals for her racecourse debut, where she will exude a sense of quiet superiority to the crowd

Apr08: She is on her way back to Tommy's as on her second racecourse appearance, without the excuse of steep downhill runs and mud, pretty much pulled herself up with just half a mile gone.

Feb08: She has acquired the name Ti Amore, in defiance of superstition of the luck J'Adore has suffered in his last two runs. Her planned debut was 20th Feb, but the Friday before that she had a touch of colic, and was subsequently a bit blocked in her waterworks, so that has been delayed.

This unnamed mare has joined us from Tommy Walshe, who was head lad at Hardwicke at the time that we got some very good performers from there, such as Mister Ed and Brave Hussar. She is a bit on the small side, but robustly constructed and will hopefully be ready to give bumpers a try in the new year.

Taipan won nine times on the flat all over Europe, including four Group 1 races, and his offspring have won on the flat and 76 races over jumps, with win prize money over the £500,000 mark.

Calamaire was placed in bumpers and hurdles, and has had two other offspring make the track. Mysilverriverfeale won a bumper and was placed in a bumper and on the flat, and Calaficial, who was bought by Trevor Hemmings for £70,000 and made a promising recent debut at Aintree
