Rossini gelding
4 year old chesnut gelding by Rossini out of Belmont Princess

The bright glow from Seville's coat caused a bout of spontaneous spring blooming from the plant life in the yard. And you can see that he has been to the barber... The enlargement of the original picture, plus adjusting the contrast and brightness has made his left eye look a bit odd, but in real life it is perfectly fine.
Mar08: This new arrival, whom we acquired from Paul Magnier, via Eddie Lee, has only just turned four, but weighs in at a strapping 16.2 hands already, with every chance that he has a touch more growing to do. He is unnamed and fairly untried, so for now we will be pushing on with him a little and if he proves up to the job, a syndicate will be put together.
Anyone who sees him, will notice that he is not just any old chesnut, but a very luminous variety, the sort from which medieval tailors made furry hi-vis jerkins. We were struggling with a nickname for him, until, based on breeding, Vicky came up the very appropriate Seville, which rose above Jaffa and Tango, and replaced the temporary solution of The Orange Job.
