If Mattie is not uttering the words "Oo-er, missus" in a Frankie Howerd voice at this point, then there is no future at all for comedy in this country.
What we can take from the last picture of the day is that Romney Marsh put plenty of effort into this race, but has enough energy left to bite anyone snapping her when not at her pristine best.
