All of these pictures were taken in Lambourn on the same day (6th Feb) - Those cantering at a lower altitude are Happy Fleet and Kilcommon Pride. Those bounding out of the fog dashed by too quick to pick up upon, but the one on the left that is levitating to avoid ruining the neatly harrowed gallop could be David Blaine, having assumed equine form as his latest enigmatic publicity stunt.
A spot on Romney Marsh sees a familiar scene laid out before her at Plumpton and fails to remain as nonchalant as Dawn and Danny
The final obstacle and it is all over bar the uphill run to the line and copious celebrations
Romney Marsh (again exhibiting malevolent thoughts about the photographer) cannot understand why everyone is so surprised that what she thought was inevitable came to pass. Idea for Racing For Change - sell little hats with a "1st" logo on, for people to perch on their head!
An unusual angle on El Passos, which a better photographer would not have to use due to having taken the picture at the right time. Being a bumper, an attempt to get one of him showing the field the way with a lap to go was foiled by gloom.
Happy Fleet, after finishing second at Kempton, decides to cold shoulder the trainer of the winner.
