If you catch her in a good mood at home, Lady Korrianda can just about be photographed, although she is clearly highly suspicious of the whole process (being tied to a daffodil cannot have helped)

Mar08: After displacing her pelvis with a slip out on the roads at Christmas, Lady Korrianda was getting back up to race fitness when it became clear that she was still feeling the knock, despite having at the physio at work on it. The vet diagnosed a minor fracture, so she was back on easy street, but should be out again in March, all being well.

Aug07: It seemed the perfect race for her had been found at Folkestone, but Lady Korrianda came into season on arrival at the course. The paranoid might think she did it deliberately...

Jul07: She has been ready to for a while, but the weather and abandonments have led to horribly oversubscribed races, and Lady Korrianda keeps being balloted out. We found a good shot of a run in the last couple of days of July, and at 4 minutes to the deadline, she was in the race, only to miss out by one slot when a surge of late confirmations came in.

Feb07: She has had a couple of runs for us, posting a pleasing effort over hurdles and a slightly unlucky one on the flat, where a bit of luck in running could have seen her on the heels of the placed horses. She will look for two mile hurdles when the ground dries out and possibly also a bit of a dabble on the flat in the turf season.

Despite many attempts, Lady Korrianda remained about as easy to photograph at Plumpton as your average vampire. The only other one nearly usuable made Tom Doyle look as if he was in that episode of Star Trek where the bloke blanks all the features on the face of people who upset him, and would have been unsporting to deploy
