Jul10: Opened his account over hurdles in a pleasingly game manner, appreciating the faster going, and really knuckling down well once an effort was required. It was not the strongest race in the world (hopefully the handicapper will agree...) but Dreamwalk ought to be able to improve on the bare form.
Mar10: Managed third in a mile and a half race, but the pace was not quick enough, and Jim Crowley's attempts to con the oppo into running the race how Dreamwalk wanted it were not bit upon by his rivals. A good try, and a sign that he can win when able to be covered up in a fast run race.
Feb10: He had a bash at two miles after the feedback from his earlier race, but having travelled best of all, failed to stay. It will be back in trip for him, hoping for a suitably strong pace.
Jan10: Did not get the race run to suit on his hurdles debut, as nobody wanted to be out front, but showed his mettle with a decent third on the flat afterwards, over a mile and a half. Jim Crowley rode and was certain that a) Dreamwalk needs 1m 6f or more and b) given a chance to ride the race again, he could win it.
Dec09: A new arrival, Dreamwalk has won a couple of ten furlong flat races, at Yarmouth and Newmarket, both on good to firm, but a couple of runs at Bath showed that good ground and a mile and a half held no fears for him. We have him entered up over hurdles already, an area in which he is quite an exciting prospect.
